Scallop fleet ... Seaford in York County is the home of the Seaford Scallop Company, one of the largest companies in the area. As I understand it, they go out off the New Jersey coast to harvest them. I heard this is sustainable fisheries. We kayaked by the boats Sunday afternoon; they were very quiet being the long weekend of the 4th.
